Planning tab

The Planning tab contains the information used to support decision-making. Reports in the Planning module use this data to guide ordering and manufacturing decisions.

1. Scope: global or per site. It is possible to create multiple planning with different scopes.
2. Status: defines whether the planning is active or not.
3. Planning type: for now, the only option is Manual reorder point.
4. Safety stock: minimum acceptable stock level for this item.
5. Reorder point: below this stock level, a new order must be placed with production or with a vendor.
6. Maximum stock level: the maximum acceptable stock level for this item.
