Plan inventory consumption in a card

1. From the menu on the left, choose Planning -> Projects.
2. Select the project you want, then click the Cards tab at the top of the screen.
   
3. Click on the desired card name.
   
4. Click the Planned consumption section.
   
5. Click the + Add icon, then follow the instructions in the next section.
   

Add a planned consumption #

1. Enter the requested information, including some details :
   • Item: the item that will be consumed.
   • Source inventory: the source inventory for this item (the default behavior is configured here).
   • Behavior: to be able to choose the behavior, the chosen item must be manufactured and have a planned consumption. The two behaviors are :
     

     Standard	Planned consumptions have no special interactions in this mode.
     Phantom	On copy from template, phantom planned consumptions will be copied with their hierarchy. Can only be activated if target item is manufactured.

   • Step: the step at which consumption is planned.
   • Auto consumption: enable so that raw materials are automatically consumed when the planned step is exited.
   • Batch size: by default, displays the batch size of the card. If this field is changed, the link between it and the card batch size is broken.
   • Link button: when the link is broken between the batch size of the planned consumption and that of the card, it is possible to link them by clicking on this button.
   • Measure: measure of each batch.
   • Blade width: this field only appears if the item dimension is in length, the blade width is added to the total quantity consumed.
     
2. Click Confirm when finished.
