Add an invoice<\/h2>\n

You can add an invoice for one or more items on the sales order. You can create a new invoice or add the items to an existing invoice.<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. From the menu on the left, choose Sales->Sales orders<\/strong>.

  2. Click the sales order that you want. The information for this order will appear on the screen.<\/li>\n
  3. In the ordered items section of the sales order, select the items that you want.
    \n\"\"<\/li>\n
  4. Click More actions <\/strong>at the top of the list, and then click Add an invoice<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  5. Choose the invoicing method, of which here is some information:
    \n\n\n\n\n\n
    Ordered quantity<\/td>\nInvoices the ordered quantity of the selected line items.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
    Shipped quantity<\/td>\nInvoices the shipped quantity of the selected line items.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
    Associated shipments<\/td>\nInvoices all items in shipments that are associated with the selected line items.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

    If the selected line items have not been shipped or the quantity shipped is invoiced, the only choice is Ordered quantity<\/strong>. Otherwise, it is possible to choose between Shipped quantity<\/strong> and Associated shipments<\/strong>. To choose the default shipment invoicing method, click here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

  6. Enter any other requested information, then click Add<\/strong>.

    Perform partial invoicing<\/h2>\n

    By default, the total quantity of the item ordered is invoiced when you add an invoice. You can perform partial billing by following these steps:<\/p>\n

    1. Once the invoice is added, click the invoiced quantity.

    2. A window will appear with billing information. Change the invoiced quantity.<\/li>\n
    3. Click Save<\/strong>.
