The transportation of hazardous materials is regulated. Items must be classified and declared when shipped. The UN number allows this classification and its display in the packing slip.<\/span><\/p>\n

Create UN number<\/h2>\n
    \n
  1. In Settings<\/strong>, go to the Definitions<\/strong> section, then UN numbers<\/strong>.

  2. Click on the Create UN number<\/strong> button in the top right.
    \n\"\"<\/li>\n
  3. Enter the requested information, and then click Save<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Add hazardous material information to an item<\/h2>\n

    Adding a UN number to an item allows information about the item’s dangerousness for transport to be displayed on a shipment’s packing slip<\/a>.<\/p>\n

      \n
    1. From the menu on the left, choose Items<\/strong>.
      \n\"\"<\/li>\n
    2. Click on the desired item. A window with the item information appears.<\/li>\n
    3. On the General<\/strong> tab, select the desired UN number.
      \n\"\"<\/li>\n
    4. Once done, you can leave the page. The information in this window is saved automatically.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Edit UN number<\/h2>\n

      1. In Settings<\/strong>, go to the Definitions<\/strong> section, then UN numbers<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
      2. Click on the desired UN number.<\/li>\n
      3. Click Edit<\/strong> in the top right.

      4. Edit the information, and then click Save<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Delete a UN number<\/h2>\n

        It is possible to delete a UN number even if it is used by an item. After deletion, the UN number<\/strong> field for this item will be blank.<\/p>\n

        1. In Settings<\/strong>, go to the Definitions<\/strong> section, then UN numbers<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
        2. Click on the desired UN number.<\/li>\n
        3. Click More actions<\/strong> in the top right, then click Delete<\/strong>.
