This page describes all the steps needed to connect your Shopify store to ALIX, including the pre-setup in Shopify and the final connection in ALIX.<\/p>\n

Configurations in Shopify<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Before you can connect ALIX, you need to create and configure an app in Shopify’s developer dashboard.<\/p>\n

  1. Log in to your Shopify account, then open the Developer Dashboard<\/strong>.

  2. Click Create app<\/strong>.
    \n\"\"<\/li>\n
  3. Give the app a name, and then click Create<\/strong>.
    \n\"\"<\/li>\n
  4. Configure the app with the following information:\n
      \n
    1. Uncheck Embed app in Shopify admin<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
    2. Webhooks API Version<\/strong>: 2026-01<\/li>\n
    3. Scopes<\/strong>: read_customers,read_orders,write_orders,read_products,write_products,read_shipping,write_shipping

    4. Click Release<\/strong> at the bottom of the page to publish the app. A pop-up window opens. If desired, enter version information (optional).

    5. In the left menu, click on Home<\/strong>, then on Install<\/strong> app.

    6. Follow the installation instructions. At the end, in the Home<\/strong> tab, you should see a “1” under Installs<\/strong>. This confirms that the application has been successfully installed.

        1. The Client ID<\/strong><\/li>\n
