When a production generates defective parts, they can be declared as scrap directly in the\u00a0Inventory production<\/strong>\u00a0popup. A scrap can generate a separate inventory (with its own\u00a0Inventory condition<\/strong>) or simply be deducted without creating an inventory.<\/p>\n

Note<\/strong>: the default scrap values (create an inventory, inventory condition, automatic printing) are defined globally in the\u00a0Inventory configurations<\/a>\u00a0and can be customized per item in the\u00a0Inventory tab<\/a>.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Mark a production as scrap<\/h2>\n

A production line can be marked as scrap from the\u00a0Inventory production<\/strong>\u00a0popup. This popup opens either by moving a card to the next step (multiple production), or by clicking the\u00a0Unit production<\/strong>\u00a0button in the\u00a0Inventory production<\/strong>\u00a0tab of a card’s full card.<\/p>\n

  1. Open the\u00a0Inventory production<\/strong>\u00a0popup using one of the two methods above.

  2. On the line to scrap, click\u00a0Mark as scrap<\/strong>. The\u00a0Scrap configuration<\/strong>\u00a0popup opens.<\/li>\n
  3. Fill in the fields of the\u00a0Scrap configuration<\/strong>\u00a0popup, then click\u00a0Confirm<\/strong>.\n

    Target an inventory<\/td>\nIf enabled, the scrap creates (or updates) a separate scrap inventory. If disabled, the scrap is only deducted without creating an inventory.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
    Auto print<\/td>\nIf enabled, a label is automatically printed upon confirmation for the scrap inventory. Available only if\u00a0Target an inventory<\/strong>\u00a0is enabled.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
    Inventory condition<\/td>\nCondition applied to the scrap inventory. Required if\u00a0Target an inventory<\/strong>\u00a0is enabled. The list contains active\u00a0inventory conditions<\/a>.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/li>\n
  4. Back on the line, the badge changes to\u00a0SCRAP \u2013 <Condition> #N<\/strong>\u00a0in red and the\u00a0Mark as scrap<\/strong>\u00a0button becomes\u00a0Mark as production<\/strong>.

  5. If\u00a0Target an inventory<\/strong>\u00a0is enabled, the\u00a0Target inventory<\/strong>\u00a0selector offers\u00a0Create an inventory<\/strong>\u00a0(by default) or an existing inventory for the item whose condition matches the one chosen. If an existing inventory is selected, its measure is increased by the scrapped quantity.<\/li>\n
  6. Enter the measure to scrap in the\u00a0Produced<\/strong>\u00a0field on the line.<\/li>\n
  7. Click\u00a0Confirm<\/strong>\u00a0at the bottom right when you are done.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Note<\/strong>: in unit production, each scrap always creates a new inventory. The\u00a0Target inventory<\/strong>\u00a0selector is not available.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

    Note<\/strong>: a card can contain both production lines and scrap lines. Good parts and scrapped parts are counted independently, without modifying the planned measure on the card.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

    Note<\/strong>: as long as the production is not confirmed, click\u00a0Mark as production<\/strong>\u00a0on a scrap line to return it to production. The badge reverts to\u00a0PRODUCTION #N<\/strong>\u00a0in green and the scrap configuration is cleared.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
