The Files<\/strong> tab gathers the documents linked to an item: drawings, technical sheets, certificates or any other relevant document. You can upload files, view them, download them, delete them, and flag PDF documents to be printed with the shipment document.<\/p>\n

Upload a file<\/h2>\n
    \n
  1. In the left menu, click Items<\/strong>, click the item you want, then click the Files<\/strong> tab.

  2. Click Choose<\/strong> to select one or more files on your computer, or drag them into the zone. The added files appear pending, before upload.
    \n\"Files<\/li>\n
  3. Repeat to add more files as needed.<\/li>\n
  4. Click Upload<\/strong> to add the files to the item.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Note: until you click Upload<\/strong>, no file is added to the item. Click Cancel<\/strong> to clear the selection.<\/p>\n

    Note: the maximum size of a file is 50 MB.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

    View a file<\/h2>\n

    The list shows each file’s name (File<\/strong>), the person who added it (Uploaded by<\/strong>) and its Version<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    Click a file in the list to open it in the viewer and review it. You can also download or close it directly from the viewer.<\/p>\n

    Download a file<\/h2>\n

    1. Select a file in the list.<\/li>\n
    2. Click Download<\/strong>.

      Note: you can only download one file at a time.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

      Print a document with the shipment<\/h2>\n

      The Print<\/strong> column lets you flag a document to be printed automatically with the item’s shipment document.<\/p>\n

      1. In the list, turn on the toggle in the Print<\/strong> column on the row of the document you want.
        \n\"Print<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        The setting is saved immediately.<\/p>\n

        Printing cannot be enabled for a file that is not a PDF.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

        The flagged documents are printed with the item’s shipment document.<\/p>\n

        Delete a file<\/h2>\n

        1. Select one or more files to delete.<\/li>\n
        2. Click Delete<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
