What’s New: Configurable Items and Simplified Sales Orders for Subcontracting

It is now possible to create items that have attributes like color or size. Also, if you outsource, you will now be able to create templates to reuse for your submissions.

Here are the new features recently arrived with ALIX 11.2.

Configurable Items

Do you have items that come in multiple options? Now manage them more easily with the new item type: configurable items. When creating an item, choose an attribute and create a model article once that can be declined in several options. Note that for this first version, only one attribute can be added per configurable item.

Centralized informations

The base items act as models and contain the centralized information which will be transferred to the variant items. So, modify information in the base item and find these modifications even in your variant items.

Simplifying Customer Orders for Subcontracting

Are you a subcontractor who transforms customer items? This new feature is for you!

Very useful in generating your quotes, our new “personalized service” type items allow you to create models. Easily find a configuration already made or generate a new manufactured item.
