Set up manual reorder point by item #

With ALIX, it is possible to configure manual reorder points per item. These settings allow for better inventory and projects planning. It is possible to configure a global scope or a per-site scope.

By default, items are configured to make to order/ buy to order: the values are all at 0.

1. From the menu on the left, choose Items.
   
2. Click on the desired item. The information of the item appears on the screen.
3. In the menu on the left side of the item, click the Planning section.
4. Click the + button.
   
5. Select the scope: global or choose a site, then click Confirm.
   
6. Enter the informations:
   

   Field	Description
   Safety stock	The minimum acceptable stock level for an item.
   Reorder point	Below this stock level, a new order must be placed with production or with a supplier.
   Maximum stock level	The maximum acceptable stock level for an item.

7. Once done, exit by clicking on the X in the top right. The information is backed up automatically.

Recommend project demand instead of net flow in planning #

In project planning, it is possible to choose which criterion will be used to calculate the recommendation:

1. In Settings, go to Settings, Configurations, then Project.
2. Choose Recommend project demand instead of net flow in planning.
