Perform a larger goods receipts than ordered #
By default, ALIX does not allow you to receive with a quantity greater than the quantity ordered. It is possible to disable this configuration to allow this.
- In Settings, go to the Settings section, Configurations, and then Inventory.
- Disable Maximum reception equals ordered measure.
Print on receipt #
Upon goods receipt, you can choose the default print behavior. It is always possible to change this behavior in each receipt.
- In Settings, go to the Settings section, Configurations, and then Inventory.
- Choose Reception print checked by default.
Enable partial receipt #
When you receive a quantity that is smaller than ordered, you can choose the default inventory behavior. It is always possible to change this behavior in each reception.
- In Settings, go to the Settings section, Configurations, and then Inventory.
- Choose When receiving, enable partial reception by default.
Filter target inventories based on location #
When choosing the target inventory for a received item, it is possible to filter by site.
- In Settings, go to the Settings section, Configurations, and then Inventory.
- Choose Filter target inventory list based on site on goods receipt.
Display date received with time #
You can choose to display the date received only, or the date and time.
- In Settings, go to the Settings section, Configurations, and then Inventory.
- Choose Reception date with time.
Force scale inventory weighing #
It is possible to require weighing by scale to modify the weight of inventory. This configuration works with security groups.
Note: this configuration affects all inventory weight changes, not just receiving.
- In Settings, go to the Settings section, Configurations, and then Inventory.
- Choose Groups forced to change inventory weights by scale.
- Select the desired group(s).
Lock in the receiving weight #
If you are using the weighing form, you can choose the default behavior when weighing a goods receipt. If the goods receipt contains only one inventory, you can automatically transfer the weight weighed to that single inventory. It is always possible to change this behavior in each goods receipt.
Note: For the weight transfer to occur automatically, the feature must be enabled before weighing.
- In Settings, go to the Settings section, Configurations, and then Inventory.
- Choose Lock the goods receipt weight based on the Weighings section by default.
Show/hide weighing #
When receiving, you can choose the default behavior for the display of the weighing form. It is always possible to change this behavior in each goods receipt.
- In Settings, go to the Settings section, Configurations, and then Inventory.
- Choose Show Weighings section on receptions by default.
Show custom fields on reception PDF #
When ordered items have custom fields, you can choose the default behavior to display them on the PDF view of the goods receipt. It is always possible to change this behavior in each receipt.
- In Settings, go to the Settings section, Configurations, and then Inventory.
- Choose Show custom fields on reception pdf.
Allow custom carriers on receptions #
When creating a goods receipt, you can choose whether the carrier should be chosen from the proposed list or whether it is possible to enter another carrier.
- In Settings, go to the Settings section, Configurations, and then Inventory.
- Choose Allow custom carriers on receptions.
Propagate the reception site on the inventories #
If you edit the goods receipt site, you can decide whether this change should also apply to inventories. If this option is enabled, you cannot edit the site directly on an inventory while it is being received.
- In Settings, go to the Settings section, Configurations, and then Inventory.
- Choose Propagate the reception site on the inventories.
Show site address on goods receipts PDF #
You can choose the default behavior to display the site address on the goods receipt PDF view. It is always possible to change this behavior in each receipt.
- In Settings, go to the Settings section, Configurations, and then Inventory.
- Choose Show site address on goods receipts PDF.
