Although billing and shipping addresses are two separate sections, their behavior is identical and is explained in this same article.
Add an address #
- From the menu on the left, choose Sales -> Customers or Purchases -> Vendors.

OR

- In the list, click the customer/vendor you want. The information for that contact appears on the screen.
- Click on the + on the right side of the screen, in the Billing address or Shipping address section.

- Enter the address in the Full address field.

- Select the right address from the list offered thanks to ALIX’s integration with Google Maps. The other fields are auto-populated.
- If necessary, enter the missing information.
- Click Create.
Edit an address #
- From the menu on the left, choose Sales -> Customers or Purchases -> Vendors.

OR

- In the list, click the customer/vendor you want. The information for that contact appears on the screen.
- Click the menu icon on the right side of the screen, in the Billing address or Shipping address section, and then click Edit.

- Make the changes you want, then click Confirm.
Delete an address #
It is not possible to delete a primary address. Only a secondary address can be deleted.
- From the menu on the left, choose Sales -> Customers or Purchases -> Vendors.

OR

- In the list, click the customer/vendor you want. The information for that contact appears on the screen.
- Click the menu icon on the right side of the screen, in the Billing address or Shipping address section, and then click Delete. This action cannot be reversed.

Use the same address for shipping as billing #
- From the menu on the left, choose Sales -> Customers or Purchases -> Vendors.

OR

- In the list, click the customer/vendor you want. The information for that contact appears on the screen.
- Click the menu icon on the right side of the screen, in the Billing address section, and then click Copy to shipping address.
