This page describes all the steps needed to connect your Shopify store to ALIX, including the pre-setup in Shopify and the final connection in ALIX.
Configurations in Shopify #
Before you can connect ALIX, you need to create and configure an app in Shopify’s developer dashboard.
- Log in to your Shopify account, then open the Developer Dashboard.

- Click Create app.

- Give the app a name, and then click Create.

- Configure the app with the following information:
- Uncheck Embed app in Shopify admin.
- Webhooks API Version: 2026-01
- Scopes: read_customers,read_orders,write_orders,read_products,write_products,read_shipping,write_shipping

- Click Release at the bottom of the page to publish the app. A pop-up window opens. If desired, enter version information (optional).

- In the left menu, click on Home, then on Install app.

- Follow the installation instructions. At the end, in the Home tab, you should see a “1” under Installs. This confirms that the application has been successfully installed.

Information to be collected:
- In the app’s settings, note:
- The Client ID
- The Secret

You will also need:
- The URL of your Shopify store (format [name].myshopify.com)
This information will be used in the next section for the connection in ALIX.
Connection in ALIX #
This section explains how to connect your Shopify store to ALIX. You must have done the previous setup step in Shopify before making the connection on the ALIX side.
- In Settings, go to the Integration section, then click Connect next to the Shopify app.

- Enter the requested information, and then click Confirm.
