To display the Sale tab for an item, turn on the Sold toggle.
The information provided here is used to facilitate the creation of sales orders. When this item is added to an order, the fields below are automatically used to populate the details.
- Sales price computing : defined the calculation method used for this item. You can configure the default method with this setting.
Fixed price To manually set a unit sales price. Price based on material weight Corresponds to the unit selling price of the material used in the item. Automatically calculates the associated cost when material is sold or valued by weight rather than by unit. For more information: materials configuration. Computed card price Applies to manufactured items only. The sum of all costs defined in the production recipe, including work time costs, equipment costs, materials consumed, and subcontracting costs. Selling price of subcomponents Applies to manufactured items only. Total selling price of materials consumed. - Unit selling prince: the selling price for each unit. When the sales price computing method is set to Fixed price, the Configure unit selling price per currency button allows you to add unit prices in different currencies.
- Minimum order quantity: used for creating sales order.
- Taxable: Indicates whether the item is taxable or not.
- Long descriptions: If these fields are left blank, the descriptions in the General tab of the article will be used.
- Full inventory shipping: When enabled, the inventories of this item are not divisible during reservations or shipping.
- Tolerance over / tolerance under: Allows for a variation between the quantity sold and the quantity shipped when the exact quantity cannot be predicted.
- Customer: choose the relevant customer when the item is specific to a single customer.
