How to search for an item when adding it to a sales order or purchase order

When you add an item to a sales order or purchase order, a selection window opens. This window offers two display modes: the simple view and the detailed view. You can switch between the two as per your requirement.

1. Open a sales order or purchase order.
2. Click Add to add an item.
   
3. The selection window opens with the simple or detailed view depending on the configuration of your module.

Simple view #

The simple view is designed for quick and uncluttered selection.

1. Filter your items by searching through the SKU and description fields.
2. Click to switch to the detailed view.
3. Select the items wanted.
4. Click to add the selected items to the order.

Detailed view #

The detailed view displays more information for easy search or filtering.

1. Select the columns to display in the item list.
2. Filter your items by searching.
3. Click to switch to the simple view.
4. Sort or filter by column.
5. Select the items wanted.
6. Click to add the selected items to the order.

Default configuration #

It is possible to set the default view displayed in the settings.
