Addresses

Address configuration allows you to add synonyms to countries and provinces. Synonyms are useful for, for example, finding a good region when searching for taxes.

1. In Settings, go to Addresses -> Countries, then click on Canada.
   
2. Click Edit at the top right of the screen.
3. To add a synonym, click Add.
   
4. When you’re done, click Save at the top right.
   

In this example, when you enter an address with “CA” or “can” in the Country field, ALIX will be able to match the country to “Canada”.

This works the same for province synonyms.
