Consume inventory in a card

Inventory consumption in a card allows you to deduce quantities from your inventory and know its destination.

1. In the left menu, choose Operations.
2. Click on the desired card, a window opens.
3. On the left, choose the Consumption tab.
   

Consume unplanned inventory #

The Allow consumption of not planned inventory in cards configuration must be enabled before unplanned consumption can be performed.

By scan #

1. Scan the inventory to be consumed. The inventory will appear in the Consumed material section.
   1. Specify the batch size consumed.
   2. Indicate the quantity consumed.
   3. Confirm the date of use.
      

Manual add #

1. Click the + Add The unplanned consumption window opens.
   
2. Enter the requested information, including the following details:
   • Item: the item that will be consumed.
   • Source inventory: The source inventory for this item (field absent if the chosen item is a service or not managed).
   • Batch size: displays the batch size of the card, cannot be changed for unplanned consumption.
   • Measure: Measure of each batch. It is possible to configure the default quantity on this field here.
     
3. When you’re done, click Confirm.

Consume planned inventory #

In the Planned consumption section :

1. Click the double checkmark icon to consume all scheduled inventories.
   OR
   
2. Click the checkmark of the inventory you are consuming.
   OR
   
3. Scan the inventory you consume.
   
4. The inventory appears in the Consumed material section.
   1. Specify the batch size consumed.
   2. Indicate the quantity consumed.
   3. Confirm the date of use.
      
      

Add planned consumption #

For talents with access to the planning module (see security groups), it is possible to add a planned consumption directly in the card.

1. Click + Add.

Reverse a consumption #

To make a material return on the right date, it is possible to reverse a consumption.

Note: The Allow consumption reversal with negative values configuration  must be enabled.

1. In the left menu, choose Operations.
2. Click on the desired card, a window opens.
3. On the left, choose the Consumption tab.
   
4. In the Consumed Material section, click the … to the right of the desired consumption, then click Reverse.
   
5. A new line appears. The red color of the total and the yellow icon indicate that it is a negative consumption.
