The Planning tab contains the information used to support decision-making. Reports in the Planning module use this data to guide ordering and manufacturing decisions.
- Scope: global or per site. It is possible to create multiple planning with different scopes.
- Status: defines whether the planning is active or not.
- Planning type: for now, the only option is Manual reorder point.
- Safety stock: minimum acceptable stock level for this item.
- Reorder point: below this stock level, a new order must be placed with production or with a vendor.
- Maximum stock level: the maximum acceptable stock level for this item.
