Weighing section

View weighing section #

1. From the menu on the left, choose Inventories -> Goods receipts.
2. Click the desired goods receipt.
3. At the top right, click More actions, then click Show weighings section.
   

It is possible to configure the default behavior of this action in configurations.

Carry out the weighings #

If the goods receipt is in the New status, it will automatically change to In progress status when a weighing begins.

1. From the menu on the left, choose Inventories -> Goods receipts.
2. Click the desired goods receipt.
3. In the Weighins section, click the Weigh button under Gross to weigh the gross. A window opens to carry out the weighing.
   
4. Perform the manual or scale weighing, and then click Confirm.
5. Once the goods have been unloaded, weigh the Tare by clicking on the Weigh button. The same window opens to perform the weighing.
6. Once the gross and the tare are weighed, the net will be calculated automatically.

Edit weights #

It is possible to change the weights of one of the values, by choosing the desired action from the More actions menu.

When you change a weighing, the new value updates the calculations that have already been made.

Edit the order of weighing calculations #

By default, the calculation of weighings is Gross – Tare = Net. It is possible to change the order of this calculation to Net + Tare = Gross.

To do this, click More actions, and then click Net + Tare = Gross.

Lock in the receiving weight #

If the goods receipt contains only one inventory, you can choose whether or not to automatically transfer the weight weighed to that single inventory.

For the weight transfer to occur automatically, the feature must be enabled before weighing.

Enable/disable this feature by clicking the Unlocked/Locked toggle.
