Sections to copy when duplicating an item #

When duplicating an item, you can choose which sections to copy which are enabled by default.

1. In Settings, go to the Settings section, Configurations, and then Inventory.
2. Choose Copy “Vendors” section on item duplicate, Copy “Inventory” section on item duplicate, Copy “Accounting” section on item duplicate and Copy “Planning” section on item duplicate.
   

Default item sales price computing #

Calculating the Default Item Sales Price

For a sold item, it is possible to choose the default sales price computing method. This field is used in the item, on the Sale tab.

1. In Settings, go to the Settings section, Configurations, and then Inventories.
2. Choose the Default item sales price computing.
   

Definitions for items #

Several elements are defined in the configurations:

• Items groups
• Materials
• Raw
• Categories
• Treatments
• Attributes
• Countries of origin
• HS codes
• UN numbers

To get to these configurations:

1. In Settings, go to the Items section.
2. Click the item you want.
   

Materials #

Materials are raw materials that can be added to an item. Their price can be defined by weight for items whose cost depends on the weight of the material.

1. In Settings, go to the Items section, then Materials.
   
2. Click Create material or click the desired material in the list, then click Edit in the top right.
3. Enter the requested information. If desired, you can also add a unit selling price by currency by clicking Add.
