Introduction – Settings

In ALIX, there are many possible configurations to allow you to customize your experience. They can be seen by clicking on the Settings icon at the top right of the screen.

 

Enable feature early access #

Activate this config to enable experimental or upcoming ALIX features. For example, modules with the BETA mark.

  1. In Settings, go to the Settings section, Configurations, and then General.
  2. Choose Enable feature early access.

 

Enable strict search in grids #

This configuration allows you to choose whether ALIX should find exactly what you have written or all the results that contain the words you have entered when searching in the grids.

Enabled

  • ALIX only looks for results that exactly match the text you wrote.
  • You must type the text as it appears in the grid.

Disabled

  • When you type multiple words, each one is taken into account separately.
  • ALIX checks that all these words appear in the results.
  • Example: If you search for “blue white red”, the search will show items that contain blue, white, and red, regardless of the order or where those words appear.

  1. In Settings, go to the Settings section, Configurations, and then General.
  2. Choose Enable strict search in grids.

 

Configure the home dashboard #

On the homepage, it is possible to customize the right-hand section.

 

  1. In Settings, go to the Settings -> Configurations, then click General.
  2. Find the Home dashboard URL field.
  3. Once done, you can leave the page. The information in this window is saved automatically.
